Learn More About Respiratory Viruses and Vaccines

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) launched a new national campaign to inform the public about common respiratory viruses and available vaccines. The campaign, Risk Less. Do More., aims to increase awareness of vaccines that reduce the risk of serious illness from influenza (flu), COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in high-risk populations and to limit the spread of these viruses among all people.

Stay Up to Date

Are you already up to date with your flu and COVID-19 vaccines? Even if you were vaccinated in the past, your immunity weakens, so it's time to boost your defense.  Get started at vaccines.gov.

Community Events in Your Neighborhood

Every month, the Risk Less. Do More. campaign will participate in, and help organize, community events. These events aim to provide resources and information on respiratory viruses and how vaccines are the best protection and best defense against severe illness.  They are an effective way to avoid risks, and to stay healthy and active to continue doing what you love most. Plus, they decrease your chances of hospitalization and death from flu, COVID-19, and RSV. Below, find the community events available in your area.
