The Power of Dialogue

On this episode of LatinEQUIS, I speak with Dr. Maria Elena Botazzi, a Honduran-trained scientist in tropical medicine and microbiology and an advocate for global health.

We talk about being a Latina in STEM, the pandemic, and her endeavor to make vaccines accessible for all, especially underserved populations.

I also invited Fernanda, one of our interns, a pre-med student at Baylor University from Honduras and a fan of Dr. Botazzi's work.
